to join their growing team. Position Overview

The

Tax Senior

will play a key role in the firm's tax department, working directly with partners and clients to deliver high-quality tax preparation and planning services. This is a full-time position offering an excellent opportunity for professional growth, including the potential to advance into a

Tax Manager

role. Key Responsibilities Prepare and review complex federal and state tax returns for individuals, corporations, partnerships, and trusts Conduct thorough tax research and provide practical, well-supported recommendations to clients Identify and implement tax-saving strategies to minimize client liabilities Prepare and review estimated tax payments, extensions, and projections Communicate proactively with clients to address tax-related questions and concerns Mentor and train junior staff, fostering technical development and quality performance Stay current on tax law changes, regulations, and emerging industry trends Participate in client meetings and contribute to strategic tax planning discussions Manage and strengthen client relationships through exceptional service and communication Collaborate with audit and advisory teams to ensure a coordinated approach to client service Prepare or review tax provision calculations and related disclosures for financial statements Respond to inquiries from the IRS and state taxing authorities Support firm-wide quality control and process improvement initiatives Participate in networking and business development opportunities Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (Master's in Taxation preferred) Active CPA license required Minimum 4

years of public accounting experience

with a strong focus on tax preparation and planning Proficiency with tax preparation software (e.g.,

CCH ProSystem fx ,

UltraTax , or

Lacerte ) Strong technical knowledge of federal and state tax regulations Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills Strong written and verbal communication abilities Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines Leadership experience with demonstrated mentoring capabilities Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax research tools
