About the Role
The Company is looking for a strategic leader to join as the Vice President of Business Development and Corporate Strategy. This pivotal role is critical for shaping and executing the company’s growth trajectory. We seek a seasoned professional with a strong foundation in the North American fuel industry, particularly within retail and wholesale fuel distribution.
Your key responsibilities will include driving M&A initiatives, fostering organic growth, and extending our business beyond core operations. You will contribute to strategic planning, perform market research, and develop vital relationships within the industry and investment communities to identify and evaluate potential opportunities.
Collaboration is key; you will work closely with commercial units and the executive leadership team to ensure that our growth strategies align with overall company objectives.
Ideal candidates will possess:
A minimum of 10 years in a commercial management role with P&L responsibility.
5 to 7 years in corporate development within fast-paced, multi-national companies.
A Bachelor's degree in a business-related field; a Master's degree is preferred.
You should demonstrate:
A track record of excellence in leadership and management.
Experience with investment banking, venture capital, or private equity.
Outstanding strategic thinking and analytical skills.
In-depth knowledge of the North American fuel industry.
Strong negotiation, relationship management, and communication abilities.
