Shifts: 6:30 am - 7:00 pm (3 days) and 6:30 pm - 7:00 am (4 days), with mandatory weekends and holidays.
Job Description
Under general supervision of the Respiratory Therapy Supervisor, you will deliver life-support, resuscitation, monitoring, and various medical gases therapy to patients. Your role will involve performing invasive and non-invasive diagnostic procedures to Intensive Care and General Practice Unit patients, maintaining clinical expertise for departmental assignments at various business units as assigned, and ensuring effective communication with patients, co-workers, physicians, and other system employees regarding patient care needs.
Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive respiratory therapy to patients in adult ICU or Neonatal ICU. Document all aspects of patient care accurately. Supervise, direct, and delegate tasks to Respiratory Therapists, externs, and students as assigned. Complete necessary and accurate patient billing information. Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
Two years of recent experience as a Respiratory Therapist. Associate of Science Degree from an accredited Respiratory Therapist program. Registration with the National Board of Respiratory Care. Current Respiratory Therapist License in the State of Michigan. BLS certification. Why ARMStaffing?
