Are you passionate about safety and ready to make an impact where it matters most? As a Construction Safety Manager with Cummings Electrical, you’ll play a key role in driving our
Safety First
culture across large-scale commercial and industrial projects throughout the DFW area. You’ll work directly with project teams to ensure compliance, champion best practices, and foster a proactive approach to keeping our people safe and our operations running smoothly.
Responsibilities
Safety Manager is responsible for overall SSSP execution, including, but not limited to management of Subcontractor Safety Coordinators. Sub-tier management, case & care Management.
Oversee activities related to electrical, instrumentation, and controls.
Ensure safety remains a top priority on every job site at all times.
Work closely with project teams to develop and sustain an Incident and Injury Free Culture (IIFC)
Report directly to the Health and Safety Director
Craft training, safety administration, work coordination, and high-risk activity planning and development
Qualifications
BS Occupational Safety & Health required.
12-15 years relevant construction experience, or Certified Safety Professional (as recognized by the Board of Certified Safety Professionals)
Two 2 years of relevant construction experience.
Minimum OSHA 510
Minimum Construction Health and Safety Technician (CHST) Board of certified Safety Professionals (BCSP) Certification.
Must be willing to work overtime and weekends if needed
Not required, but nice to have:
NFPA 70E and LOTO
First Aid, Narcan, and Bloodborne Pathogens Training.
CPR and AED Training.
Emergency Procedures Training
Mental Health First Aid Training
