Implement individualized therapy sessions concentrating on areas such as speech clarity, language, voice, and swallowing techniques. Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including physical and occupational therapists, nurses, doctors, caregivers, and families to develop unified care plans. Provide essential education to patients and their families to aid in progress outside of clinic hours. Assist with occasional inpatient evaluations and therapy, ensuring seamless continuity of care throughout the healing journey. Maintain meticulous documentation that complies with state regulations, federal laws, and institutional standards. Engage in ongoing professional development to stay ahead of trends and breakthroughs within the field. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet certified by ASHA. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of hire. Skills
