Our client, a mid-sized law firm with a respected real estate practice, is seeking a
Legal Assistant
to provide immediate support on a
3-6 month temporary assignment . The role will assist multiple attorneys and paralegals handling high-volume real estate transactions and related matters.
Responsibilities:
Draft and proofread legal correspondence, closing binders, and transactional documents Manage attorney calendars, deadlines, and meeting coordination E-file and organize digital and physical files in accordance with firm protocols Prepare redlines, track revisions, and manage document versions Communicate with clients, vendors, and internal teams regarding closing logistics Support billing processes and administrative reporting Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Legal Assistant, preferably in real estate or transactional law Familiarity with e-filing, document management systems, and Microsoft Office Excellent organizational and time management skills Strong attention to detail and ability to thrive in fast-paced settings
