Description
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Ensure timely and accurate coding and processing of invoices for payment. Produce weekly check runs to include supporting documentation Maintain accurate records of all financial transactions, including invoices, payments, and vendor communications. Communicate with vendors regarding payment status and resolve any discrepancies or issues that arise. Assist in preparing financial reports related to accounts payable and accrued expenses. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Maintain A/P Filing on site. Reconcile monthly company credit cards and related receipts. Reconcile GL accounts and petty cash accounts. Assist with month-end close process. Prepare annual 1099 forms. Other duties as needed by CFO. Qualifications
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Excellent communication skills. Must be able to work in a fast-paced multi-tasking, hands-on environment. Ability to establish and maintain a positive and professional working relationship with all individuals. Strong organizational skills Strong data entry and 10-Key skills Excellent computer skills; MUST be strong in Microsoft Excel & Word Solid understanding of accounting principles Experience with Sage Intacct accounting software preferred Education:
Two-year college degree required in accounting or business program preferred Experience:
Minimum of three (3) years working in Accounts Payable (required) Minimum of five (5) years working in Accounts Payable experience (preferred) DEMANDS AND CHARACTERISTICS OF WORK, EQUIPMENT USAGE, AND WORK ENVIRONMENT. PERCENTAGE OF WORK TIME (1-33%)
