Business Development Specialist - Alumination Architectural Products

As the Business Development Specialist for Alumination Architectural Products, you will drive growth by forging strategic partnerships with architectural, general contractor, and subcontractor firms. Your efforts will contribute to increasing brand awareness, product specification, and achieving sales targets. Responsibilities: Track and analyze sales metrics to identify trends and opportunities, using data for strategic decisions. Establish and maintain relationships with architects, designers, contractors, and influencers in the building industry. Influence product specifications through presentations and meetings with specifiers, highlighting product benefits. Provide technical support, answer questions, and assist with product selections and design consulting. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, develop sales pipelines, and close deals. Monitor project specifications, track leads, and ensure alignment with company goals. Develop and deliver presentations, seminars, and training to the architectural and design community. Collaborate with marketing, sales, and engineering teams to support sales efforts. Maintain customer records and project information in the CRM system. Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to adapt strategies. Prepare and submit submittals, samples, and technical documentation for product specifications. Attributes/Skills: 2+ years of experience in architectural product sales. Successful management of strategic account relationships with architects and contractors. Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings. Strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts. Excellent communication skills for presentations and correspondence. Experience in planning and resource management. Positive attitude and alignment with core values: Willing to Help, Improve and Learn, Keep Your Cool, Going the Extra Mile. Bachelor's degree or 3-5 years related experience. Willingness to travel for client meetings and conferences. Preferred Skills: Experience with Salesforce CRM. Proficiency in reading architectural plans, takeoffs, and estimates. Skills in data analysis, forecasting, and budgeting. Knowledge of the commercial construction industry and trade relationships. Experience in exterior wall cladding product sales (preferred but not required). Seniority level
