Gen Ed - Social Sciences Non-Tenure Track Faculty - Gallatin College (Applicant Pool) Gallatin College seeks non‑tenure track faculty to teach Social Science courses in the AA/AS program. The appointment is a semester contract full‑time position with a faculty rank of instruction. The salary is $1,300 per course credit.

Duties and Responsibilities

Teach Social Science courses at the associate‑degree level in one or more of the following specialty areas: Sociology, Psychology, Human Development, or related disciplines.

Prepare lesson plans, deliver instruction, and assess student learning in a manner consistent with the college’s general‑education standards.

Maintain an accessible classroom environment and engage diverse students through inclusive pedagogical practices.

Update course materials regularly and contribute to the continuous improvement of the curriculum.

Participate in departmental meetings and fulfill any additional committee responsibilities as assigned.

Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

Master’s degree in a relevant discipline.

Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills

College‑level teaching experience.
