Brief Position Overview Gallatin College seeks non‑tenure track faculty to teach general education courses in the workforce programs. Faculty will work semester‑based contracts, teaching part‑time at either the MSU or East Frontage Rd locations.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and deliver instructional materials for courses in Professionalism, Professional Communication, Interviewing Skills, and Resume Building.
Design assignments and assessments that promote workplace skills and career readiness.
Provide academic advising to students in the workforce programs.
Maintain accurate course records and comply with academic policies.
Participate in departmental meetings and professional development activities.
Required Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Occupational experience in the field relevant to workforce programs; academic degrees or industry certifications may be required depending on the course.
Demonstrated experience working with and engaging diverse students and colleagues within and outside the department.
Preferred Qualifications – Experience, Education, Knowledge & Skills
Prior teaching experience.
Three or more years of industry experience in management or hiring.
Demonstrated commitment to student, faculty, and staff diversity.

Work professionally and effectively with diverse individuals.
Possess effective interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Contribute positively to student academic success and the mission of Gallatin College, MSU.

Position Special Requirements / Additional Information
May be a union position; union affiliation is determined by job duties and the collective bargaining unit.
Faculty positions more than .5 FTE may be eligible for benefits as outlined in relevant faculty association policies.
Employment Terms Contract Type: Non‑Tenure Track (Pooled), Semester, Fall or Spring. Salary: $1,300 per credit. FTE depends on course load. Benefits are contingent on FTE.
