Senior Financial Analyst - Cost Accounting & FP&A

Overview We're seeking a strategic and detail-oriented
Senior Financial Analyst
to lead cost accounting and FP&A functions for a growing, product-based manufacturing organization. This individual will play a key role in developing cost models, analyzing ROI for strategic initiatives, validating capital investments, and driving improvements in financial reporting and forecasting.
Key Responsibilities
Build, maintain, and analyze detailed cost models across products and operations. Evaluate ROI and financial feasibility for new projects, capital investments, and strategic initiatives. Lead budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support executive decision-making. Develop and enhance financial dashboards and reporting tools. Partner with operations, sales, and leadership teams to deliver actionable insights. Implement and refine cost accounting processes and internal controls. Utilize
Sage ERP
for data extraction, analysis, and reporting. Contribute to month-end and year-end close through financial review and reporting. Identify and recommend cost savings and operational efficiency opportunities. Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field ( CPA/CMA or MBA preferred ). 5+ years
of progressive experience in cost accounting, FP&A, or financial analysis. Strong understanding of product costing, capital budgeting, and financial statement analysis. Proficiency in
Sage ERP
and
advanced Excel ; experience with BI tools a plus. Excellent analytical, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills. Experience within
manufacturing or product-driven environments
preferred.
