The technician inspects, tests, repairs, installs, designs, and maintains electrical systems and instrumentation according to diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer’s specifications. Responsibilities: Support and improve company safety programs. Perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance. Train employees on equipment functionality, troubleshooting, and repairs. Monitor equipment conditions and identify potential failures. Maintain electrical equipment such as motors, breakers, transformers, PLCs, control panels, lighting, and more. Operate equipment including stamping presses, roll formers, automation systems, and chemical systems. Utilize software like RSLink, Factory Talk, Studio5000. Perform miscellaneous tasks like cleaning, painting, and trash removal. Use test equipment, hand tools, and computer-aided tools. Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns. Follow maintenance schedules and blueprints, adhering to codes and instructions. Qualifications: 2-year technical degree or 3 years relevant industrial experience. Experience with troubleshooting VFDs, electrical controls, motors, schematics. Understanding hydraulic and pneumatic systems. Mechanical knowledge of pumps, gears, bearings, production equipment.
