Description Conduct comprehensive assessments for pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients through established testing methods and observational evaluations. Craft individualized therapy plans focused on both immediate actions and long-term communication, cognitive, or swallowing requirements. Implement personalized speech therapy interventions that emphasize communication, language skills, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate efficiently with physical therapists, occupational therapists, medical staff, families, and caregivers to develop unified care plans. Educate patients and families to aid their progress beyond clinical settings. Engage in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions to ensure ongoing comprehensive care during treatment. Maintain meticulous documentation that aligns with local, federal, and organizational standards. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in speech-language pathology through ongoing education and peer networking. Education
Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Successful completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) before achieving ASHA certification. Certifications
State licensure as a
Speech Language Pathologist . Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is preferred. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within the first 30 days of hire. Skills
