About Our Client
Our client is a DC-based general contractor that has been building and renovating public spaces for over 15 years with a strong focus on K-12 schools, parks, and government facilities.
Job Description
As a Project Manager, You'll oversee a diverse portfolio of projects including school renovations, parks and recreation upgrades, and municipal facility improvements. Most work is concentrated in DC and Maryland, with a strong client base in public agencies. The ideal candidate brings technical expertise, strong communication skills, and a team-first mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Manage all phases of construction projects from pre-construction through closeout. Coordinate with clients, architects, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery. Lead field operations and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and performance standards. Oversee self-performed trades including drywall, masonry, carpentry, and specialty finishes. Maintain accurate documentation and reporting throughout the project lifecycle. The Successful Applicant
5+ years of experience managing K-12 or government construction projects. Strong understanding of public sector procurement and compliance. Proven ability to lead teams and manage multiple stakeholders. Experience with interior renovations and self-performed trade coordination is a plus.
