Job Description
The Project Manager - K-12/Public Projects - DC Metro will:
Lead and manage construction projects valued at $20M+, ensuring timely and budget-conscious delivery Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and internal teams Ensure compliance with safety standards and quality benchmarks Maintain project documentation and reporting using MS Office tools Conduct regular site visits and meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues Mentor junior staff and contribute to a collaborative team environment Uphold the client's core values of integrity, innovation, and community impact Navigate permitting and regulatory processes in the DMV region MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. The Successful Applicant
The Project Manager - K-12/Public Projects - DC Metro will have:
Minimum 5 years of experience as a Project Manager in construction Proven track record managing at least one ground-up building project Experience in sectors such as multifamily, healthcare, education, or civic buildings Familiarity with DMV construction regulations and stakeholders OSHA 30 certification required PMP or CCM certification preferred Proficiency in MS Office What's on Offer
The Project Manager - K-12/Public Projects - DC Metro will receive:
Competitive base salary: $115,000-$135,000 Monthly car allowance of $500 Performance bonus up to 10% 20 days PTO + sick leave 100% employer-paid health insurance Hybrid work flexibility (1 day/week after 90 days) Tuition reimbursement & student loan repayment 401(k) with 4% match and 529 college savings plan
