Description
We are looking for an experiencedPayroll Managerto join our team!
Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm
Pay Rate: $50,000.00-$60,000.00/year
The Payroll Manager is responsible for managing and processing multi-state payroll operations for hourly, salaried, and contract employees. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and timeliness in all payroll-related activities while supporting continuous improvement across Payroll and Accounting systems.
IndoorMedia has approximately 400 W2 employees and 500 Independent Contractors .
Key Responsibilities: Process semi-monthly payroll for multi-state employees and 1099 Independent Contractors using Paycom, SAP, and OnPay systems. Verify timekeeping data, deductions, bonuses, commissions, and adjustments to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations. Manage and process employee garnishments, loans, and payroll advances. Review and reconcile payroll reports, promptly identifying and resolving discrepancies. Prepare and submit payroll-related reports to management, accounting, and external agencies. Coordinate with payroll processors to review and address payroll tax invoices. Assist with year-end payroll activities, including W-2 and 1099 preparation and distribution. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries. Collaborate with HR and Accounting teams to streamline payroll processes, enhance data accuracy, and improve reporting efficiency. Qualifications
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience as a Payroll Manager or in a related payroll role. Experience in multi-state payroll processing and payroll systems (Paycom, SAP, OnPay, or similar platforms preferred). Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and Word. Strong understanding of payroll regulations, tax withholdings, and labor laws. Excellent computer skills with the ability to learn new systems quickly. Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information. Strong mathematical, analytical, and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a commitment to collaboration and customer service.
