The

Dental Clinic Manager

oversees the

administrative, operational, and financial functions

of the dental clinic. This role ensures efficient day-to-day operations, a high-quality patient experience, and seamless collaboration between administrative and clinical teams.

Working closely with dentists and clinical leadership, the Dental Clinic Manager will manage staff, maintain regulatory compliance, optimize workflow, and support the clinic's financial and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

Operational Management

Oversee all daily clinic operations Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) Manage inventory, vendor relationships, and equipment maintenance Ensure compliance with

OSHA ,

HIPAA , and infection control standards Oversee facility safety and cleanliness Financial Management & Reporting

Prepare and manage the annual clinic budget Oversee billing, insurance claims, and collections Monitor key metrics (collections, A/R, patient flow) Generate operational and financial reports Identify cost-saving opportunities and revenue growth strategies Patient Experience & Scheduling

Supervise patient scheduling and recall systems Ensure efficient patient flow and service excellence Resolve patient concerns and monitor satisfaction metrics Maintain a professional, welcoming environment Compliance & Risk Management

Maintain compliance with state, federal, and local regulations Manage documentation for audits, licensing, and credentialing Coordinate safety inspections and corrective actions Oversee staff training on OSHA and HIPAA standards Team Leadership & Development

Recruit, train, and evaluate administrative staff Lead team meetings and communicate operational updates Promote a positive, inclusive, and team-oriented culture Support staff in achieving individual and clinic performance goals Strategic Planning & Growth

Contribute to marketing and community outreach initiatives Analyze clinic performance and patient demographics Recommend operational improvements and growth strategies Lead implementation of new technologies or practice management systems Qualifications

Education / Certifications

Bachelor's degree in

Healthcare Administration ,

Business Administration , or related field (preferred) Certification in Dental Office or Practice Management (preferred) Training in medical billing, insurance processing, or coding a plus OSHA and HIPAA compliance certification preferred Experience

3-5 years of experience in healthcare administration (dental or medical preferred) At least 2 years in a

supervisory or management

role Experience with dental practice management software (Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or Open Dental) Proven success in managing budgets, staff, and clinic operations Skills & Abilities

Strong leadership and communication skills Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Proficiency with Microsoft Office and dental practice software Solid understanding of dental billing and insurance processes Sound judgment and decision-making skills Ability to maintain professionalism and composure under pressure Benefits
