Description Conduct evaluations for patients in pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations utilizing standardized assessments and observational strategies. Craft individualized treatment plans that cater to both short-term objectives and long-term speech, cognitive, or swallowing challenges. Deliver personalized speech therapy interventions emphasizing communication, language, fluency, voice, and swallowing proficiency. Collaborate with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to construct integrated care approaches. Supply education to patients and families fostering progress beyond clinical encounters. Occasionally assist with inpatient speech therapy evaluations and interventions, ensuring seamless care across the patient trajectory. Maintain precise and prompt documentation consistent with state, federal, and institutional regulations. Stay abreast of developments in the field through continuing education and professional collaboration. Education

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from a recognized institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY), with ASHA certification to be pursued thereafter. Certifications

Valid state licensure as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required within 30 days of employment. Skills

A strong command of evidence-based treatment strategies for varying ages, inclusive of a comprehensive understanding of both developmental and acquired speech, language, and swallowing disorders. Exceptional interpersonal communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams. Cultural and linguistic adaptability in therapy approaches.
