Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Landscape Construction Estimator to join our growing team. This role requires a meticulous, organized professional who thrives in a high‑performance environment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of landscape construction processes, materials, and costs, and will take pride in producing accurate, comprehensive, and competitive estimates that reflect the quality of our work.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed cost estimates for high-end residential landscape construction projects.
Interpret landscape architectural drawings, specifications, and design intent.
Quantify materials, labor, equipment, and subcontractor costs with precision.
Solicit and evaluate bids from suppliers and subcontractors.
Develop and maintain up-to-date cost databases and pricing models.
Collaborate closely with project managers, designers, and clients to ensure estimates align with design goals and budgets.
Participate in project hand‑offs, pre‑construction meetings, and value engineering discussions.
Procurement and strategic sourcing of materials including but not limited to plant and stone material.
Qualifications
3+ years of experience in estimating within landscape construction, general construction, or a related field.
Proven ability to read and interpret detailed landscape architectural drawings and construction documents.
Strong knowledge of materials, methods, and current market pricing.
Exceptional attention to detail, accuracy, and organization.
Proficiency with estimating software (e.g., Aspire, LMN, or similar) and Microsoft Excel.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Degree or certification in Landscape Construction, Construction Management, or related field.
