Minimum qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Industrial Engineering, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

10 years of experience in mission critical facility design and construction environments.

5 years of experience in mechanical process engineering and manufacturing automation.

5 years of experience designing and implementing automation solutions in an industrial environment.

5 years of experience with CAD software, Finite Element Analysis (FEA) tools, and Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programming.

Experience in mechanical infrastructure.

Preferred qualifications

Master's degree in Engineering, Business, a relevant field, or a professional engineering license.

Experience in estimation, mechanical design, operation, and commissioning of mission critical data center mechanical equipment.

Experience in lean manufacturing principles and product quality management systems.

Experience in the data center industry or manufacturing environments.

Knowledge of robotics, control systems, industrial automation, and statistical analysis tools (e.g., Minitab, JMP).

With your technical expertise, you ensure compliance with codes and standards, develop infrastructure improvements and serve as an expert in your specialty (e.g., cooling, electrical). Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and improve manufacturing processes for mechanical components, ensuring efficiency, cost‑effectiveness, and quality.

Conduct data analysis on manufacturing performance to identify trends, root causes of defects, and lead process improvement projects.

Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (e.g., electrical engineers, software developers) to ensure integration of mechanical and automation solutions.

Perform business case evaluations for new manufacturing technologies and equipment investments, presenting recommendations.
