Electrical Engineer

– Heath, OH Company : Boeing Responsibilities

Perform and document analyses to validate and verify that systems and components meet requirements and specifications. Review and maintain electrical system and test equipment component designs using 3‑D CAD tools, GD&T standards, and other design methods. Provide product definition to engineering groups, repair operations, suppliers, and external customers throughout the product lifecycle. Conduct electrical engineering evaluations of proposed design changes, including detailed test equipment design, testing requirements, component and hardware selection, schematics, interface, and requirement interpretations. Support development, maintenance, or modification of system, component, and installation designs, and provide design documentation to downstream groups. Support the development and documentation of PCBs, cabling, and obsolete part substitutions. Contribute to supplier development and test and production activities, and support system component design proposals, standards, and installation documentation. Basic Qualifications

1+ year of related experience for level 2, 3+ years for level 3. Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings, technical orders, process specifications, and retrofit requirements to perform electrical modifications and repairs. Experience designing, developing, testing, and qualifying electrical and electronic systems. Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science. Preferred Qualifications

Active U.S. Secret clearance (interim or final). Other active clearances accepted. Experience with electrotechnical product testing, test equipment design, and repair. Guidance system (GNC) experience. Experience applying industry and company standards to design documentation. Experience working with USAF or other U.S. Government agencies. Experience developing and documenting requirements. Experience with VHDL, Mentor Graphics (Siemens), PSpice, and very high‑speed integrated circuits. Education & Experience

Level 2: Bachelor’s degree plus 2+ years’ related work experience or equivalent. Level 3: Bachelor’s degree plus 5+ years’ related work experience or equivalent. ABET accreditation is preferred but not required. Pay & Benefits

Competitive base pay and variable compensation. Pay ranges: Level 2: $79,900–$108,100; Level 3: $97,750–$132,250. Must obtain U.S. citizenship and be eligible for a U.S. Secret clearance. Relocation
