Position Summary
The Supervisor ensures that all personnel perform their duties in compliance with company policies, safety standards, and the Facility Security Plan. This role oversees scheduling, staffing, compliance, and employee performance while maintaining a high level of customer service and operational readiness. The Supervisor also supports physical site inspections, training, and documentation to ensure a secure and efficient environment.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Develops and manages personnel schedules), ensuring fairness and operational coverage. Controls and reduces unbillable overtime and double time through proactive scheduling and staffing adjustments. Ensures staffing levels meet client requirements and align with the Facility Security Plan. Monitors compliance with all company policies, procedures, and directives. Ensures personnel receive required breaks and are rotated appropriately per post orders and security protocols. Performs access control duties and respond to incidents as needed. Delivers excellent customer service to clients, vendors, terminal staff, and ship crew members. Safeguards Sensitive Security Information (SSI) and ensure proper storage and handling. Writes and maintains daily activity and incident reports documenting irregularities, damage, or unauthorized access. Inspects work areas to ensure compliance with safety, security, and maintenance standards. Observes and evaluates employee performance to support development and skill alignment. Conducts training sessions and ensure all required reports are completed on time. Communicates effectively with supervisors via email, phone, text, and voicemail. Adapts to changing operational needs and support multiple shifts. Required to be on call and available on weekends and holidays. Other duties as assigned by Operations Manager. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Experience:
Minimum 2 years in supervisory or security operations roles. Certifications:
Must have and maintain a valid TX Security License . Licenses:
Valid driver’s license; valid TWIC card or ability to obtain and maintain. Age:
Must be at least 23 years of age to operate company or client motor vehicle. Knowledge: Familiarity with Facility Security Plans and post order procedures. Proficiency in payroll and scheduling software.
Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills. Proficient in multitasking and managing high-pressure situations. Ability to work in a fast-paced, client-focused environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
Preferred:
Education:
Associate degree or higher. Additional Experiences: Experience in maritime, logistics, or unionized environments. Law enforcement, military, or customer service background.
Certifications: Knowledge: Familiarity with safety inspection protocols and fleet management. Understanding of investigative procedures and report writing.
Skills: Ability to train and mentor staff effectively. Strong interpersonal skills for conflict resolution and team development.

Physical Demands:
The physical demands described here represent those that are typically required to perform the essential functions of this position. This role requires the ability to sit, stand, walk and drive for extended periods, including frequent movement between work areas. Must inspect identification documents, operate radios and surveillance equipment, and communicate clearly. Occasional lifting of up to 25 pounds may be required. The role also requires the ability to bend at the waist, bend to one knee, reach from ground to shoulder level, and reach overhead. Visual focus and basic computer and writing skills are essential Work Environment:
Work may be performed in both indoor and outdoor environments, including active job sites with varying weather conditions and potential exposure to noise, dust, and other occupational hazards.
