MIG/TIG Welder III
Quakertown, PA Monday to Thursday 3:00 pm start $28-32/hour AMAZING BENEFITS!
Overview We are looking for an experienced welder to join our pre-fabrication team. Are you ready to bring your skills to the table?
The ideal candidate will be able to work independently producing welds up to code, possess an understanding of welding techniques and be able to read and interpret blueprints and shop drawings. This role is essential to support the prefabrication of commercial building.
Duties for a Welder Work independently to create welds that are up to code. Mentor and coach level I and II welders. Interpret and analyze shop drawings to determine welding requirements. Gather, measure, and cut various materials. Determine the appropriate welding equipment, and perform proper set up and operation of welding equipment. Pre-assemble and weld panels and structures. Utilizing overhead cranes and jigs to transport materials. Performing MIG and TIG style welds on various materials. Maintain welding maintenance logs. Experience
10+ years experience with MIG and/or TIG Welding. Ability to read and interpret blue prints, shop prints, and technical diagrams. Possess an understanding of welding codes. Experience operating overhead cranes, and other heavy machinery safely. Trade school/vocational education in a related field. Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Requires current AWS D1.1 GMAW and/or SMAW certifications and ability to re-certify. OTHER: Welding test given.
