Were seeking a
Senior Systems Engineer
to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams and drive complex systems engineering efforts across the National System for Geospatial-Intelligence (NSG), Allied System for Geospatial-Intelligence (ASG), and partner Federal Agencies. In this high-impact role, youll shape the architecture and integration of mission-critical GEOINT systems that directly support U.S. and allied operations.
Duties may include:
As a technical leader, you will:
Mentor and guide mid- and junior-level systems engineers across the full engineering lifecycle, including: Requirements development
Solution architecture and systems integration
Scheduling and service development
Testing, evaluation, and maintainability
Reliability and resiliency engineering
Lead planning and analysis of user requirements and system architectures
Improve system performance through the review of cloud service capabilities, workflows, and scheduling constraints
Oversee the development of solution designs based on requirements analysis and emerging technologies
Translate mission and customer needs into actionable system and capability requirements
Support the allocation of requirements to architecture components and program execution
Guide systems integration across multiple platforms, programs, and agencies
Conduct technical assessments including: Analysis of Alternatives (AoAs)
Courses of Action (CoAs)
Trade Studies
Engineering Assessments
Assist in strategic planning and oversight of: Project management
Performance engineering
Risk management
Interface design
Operate at the enterprise levelintegrating multiple systems, services, and processes within Major Systems Acquisitions, spanning organizational and agency boundaries

Education & Experience
Required:
Bachelors degree or higher in one of the following fields: Systems Engineering, Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, Operations Research, Engineering Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Other related STEM disciplines
OR 12 years of experience as a Systems Engineer in lieu of a degree
Minimum of 12 years of experience in government or industry in one or more of the following areas: DoD/Intelligence Community (IC) Acquisition Processes
Requirements development processes
PPBES (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution System)
Systems engineering of large, complex System of Systems (SoS) or Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA)/Cloud environments
Technical Skills
Strong understanding of the systems engineering lifecycle
Desired
Masters degree in: Systems Engineering
OR a related technical or scientific field (as listed above)
Certifications & Licensure
INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
Technical Knowledge & Skills
Working knowledge of: Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) tools, languages, and processes
Software Development Frameworks
Demonstrated expertise in one or more of the following areas: Photogrammetry
Remote sensing
Image science
Information sciences
Geographic Information Systems (GIS)
Geomatics
Other related geospatial fields
Domain Expertise
Documented work experience in the Geospatial Intelligence (GEOINT) field
In-depth knowledge of current: NSG National System for Geospatial-Intelligence

Professional Engagement
Membership or leadership in professional organizations such as: ACSM American Congress on Surveying and Mapping
