Position Our Klient is looking for an entrepreneurial and driven Sales Executive to join their team in Germany. Based from a home office, you will take responsibility for driving new business and expanding existing client relationships with mid- to large-cap organizations. This is a strategic role that requires strong solution selling skills, the ability to navigate complex sales cycles, and a proven network in the German IT landscape.

Main tasks and responsibilities

Achieve and exceed sales quota in the assigned German territory

Develop and execute strategies to drive revenue growth through new customer acquisition, cross-sell, and upsell

Engage with C-level decision-makers and build trusted client relationships

Expand the company’s presence in mid-to-large cap accounts through a consultative, solution-selling approach

Collaborate with partner account managers to strengthen relationships with key channel and distribution partners

Maintain accurate pipeline, account, and forecast information in Salesforce

Stay current with industry trends, competitive developments, and the company’s evolving product portfolio

Travel to visit clients and partners as required (up to 30%)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, IT, or equivalent experience

5+ years of sales experience in B2B software, ideally in data protection, backup, disaster recovery, or IT infrastructure/security solutions

Strong existing network in German mid-to-large cap enterprises, with CISO/IT leadership connections preferred

Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in complex B2B software environments

Experience managing complex sales cycles with multiple stakeholders

Familiarity with Salesforce or equivalent CRM tools

Excellent presentation, negotiation, and closing skills

Self-starter mentality with ability to work independently and thrive in a dynamic environment

Entrepreneurial mindset, independence, and resilience

Strong communication skills and ability to influence senior stakeholders

Ability to influence and challenge client thinking constructively

Fluent in German and English (written and spoken)
