Commissioning Manager - Decentralized High-Performance Computing Leader

Overview
We are seeking a Data Center Commissioning Manager to lead the commissioning and handover of large-scale, mission-critical data center projects. This role requires both technical expertise and strong project leadership, ensuring that every facility is delivered to the highest standards of performance, safety, and reliability. You will guide projects from design review through on-site commissioning, ultimately transitioning facilities into operational readiness for IT infrastructure teams or end clients. What You’ll Do
Lead Commissioning Activities: Oversee commissioning from strategy and planning through execution, factory acceptance testing, issue resolution, and turnover. Ensure Quality & Safety: Establish and enforce best practices in safety, QA/QC, testing, and commissioning to deliver high-quality, cost-effective outcomes. Develop Standards: Create and refine commissioning procedures, test scripts, and documentation that align with industry-leading practices. Site Oversight: Conduct regular construction site inspections to evaluate safety, construction progress, quality assurance, and commissioning workflows. Stakeholder Communication: Report regularly on progress, risks, budgets, schedules, and key performance indicators to ensure full transparency and alignment. Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify gaps, streamline processes, and implement solutions to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future projects. About You
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Engineering Technology (preferred). 10+ years of professional experience, with at least 5 years in data center project execution or commissioning. Extensive knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems for large-scale, high-value infrastructure projects. Hands-on experience as a commissioning agent or design engineer, with proven success in mission-critical environments. Strong project management skills, with the ability to coordinate complex technical initiatives and diverse teams. Proven ability to create and manage commissioning plans, scripts, and procedures. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical details to varied stakeholders. Willingness to travel extensively (up to 80%) to support global projects. Compensation & Benefits
