Job Title: Service Coordinator
Description:
The Service Coordinator's role is to manage the daily workload of work orders through planning and coordination of labor, parts, materials, tools, and equipment. We are seeking a talented and hardworking individual to join our cross-functional team. The primary responsibility is to foster positive experiences for our existing customer base by promptly, efficiently, and courteously handling all service calls and repair requests.
Responsibilities:
Ensure timely and efficient scheduling of technician routes.
Create work orders for technicians based on phone calls, emails, and Salesforce cases.
Review and close work orders according to internal guidelines.
Handle phone calls and emails professionally, adhering to operational agreements.
Reconcile monthly inventory.
Review invoices for proper cost and labor allocations.
Order, fulfill, and ship security credentials.
Develop, track, and report departmental metrics.
Prepare quotes and proposals for major repair projects.
Process and approve invoices from subcontractors.
Participate in cross-departmental teams and committees.
Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
Plan and schedule preventative maintenance and RMA work.
Ensure technician end-of-call reports are completed and submitted promptly.
Coordinate equipment needs with the Warehouse Manager.
Skills & Qualifications:
Route planning experience in a service technician environment.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs.
Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Experience working in fast-paced environments with changing priorities.
Education & Experience:
Minimum 3 years' experience in a related position or field.
Knowledge of CCTV, Access Control, and Intrusion Systems is a plus.
Experience with service management/tracking software is a plus.
