Purpose
As a Buyer at NDT Global, you will be part of an international procurement team, taking on both operational and strategic responsibilities. You will help explore innovative, forward‑thinking approaches in purchasing.
Responsibilities
Manage the end‑to‑end procurement process for mechanical and electronic parts, consumables, and services required for complex pipeline inspections.
Maintain strong relationships within the existing supplier network while actively identifying, selecting, and qualifying new suppliers.
Negotiate contracts and pricing to achieve optimal commercial outcomes.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders across departments to ensure procurement solutions align with operational needs and expectations.
Proactively manage procurement activities to meet project targets for cost, schedule, and quality.
Monitor supplier performance and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and standards.
Requirements
Completed technical or commercial training and/or holds a university degree.
Extensive professional experience in procurement.
Ability to read technical drawings; knowledge of materials technology is a plus.
Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
Fluent in English with strong negotiation and communication skills.
