Position Overview:
As a
CEI Project Manager
at LJA Transportation, you will oversee inspection activities for the Construction Engineering & Inspection Group on transportation projects, working directly with Construction Managers to staff projects effectively.
A Typical Day Might Include:
Leading and mentoring project management teams
Planning, scheduling, and executing projects
Managing budgets, costs, and financial reports
Resource allocation
Site visits and progress monitoring
Building relationships with clients and stakeholders
Ensuring compliance with plans and specifications
Supporting inspection crews and verifying materials
Resolving conflicts and evaluating change requests
Supporting business development efforts
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
Professional Engineer license
10+ years experience in transportation projects
4+ years supervising highway inspection staff
Ability to work safely on active job sites
Professional representation of LJA and clients
Clean driving record
