Systems Engineer – Delta Dental Ins. Location:

1130 Sanctuary Pkwy, Alpharetta, GA 30009. Must live within reasonable distance from HQ and appear in office as required.

Salary:

$152,123 - $160,000/yr (Base Pay Information).

Job Type:

Full-time, 40 hours/week.

Responsibilities:

Monitor and triage the ticket queue to remediate incidents and fulfill service requests generated by end users.

Provide business-facing support and conduct business requirements analysis to deliver capabilities and technology integrations across platforms for greater employee effectiveness.

Perform monthly patching and maintenance of software, improving existing employee engagement models and building ITSM processes for incident, request, and release management.

Patch, update, manage, and create software packages for Windows-based SCCM, Intune, macOS computers, and Jamf.

Provide desktop engineering best practices and escalated customer support for Windows and macOS computers and operating systems.

Configure, manage, and maintain desktop gold master images.

Support operations and partner with team members for strategic planning, roadmap development, and project implementation.

Migrate assets to Intune and ensure systems remain up-to-date and secure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or foreign degree equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related field with five (5) years of progressive post‑baccalaureate experience.

Experience managing desktop environments and application portfolios using Intune, JAMF, and SCCM.

Proficiency with Ivanti ServiceNow, ensuring prompt resolution of incidents and service requests.

Ability to implement granular permissions and distribution controls across Intune and other platforms.

Strong experience in patch management for Windows, macOS, and SCCM platforms.

Automate Intune environments using PowerShell scripting.

Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues utilizing MDM tools such as Intune and JAMF.

Expertise with Microsoft Entra for identity, authentication, and provisioning.

Advanced knowledge of Active Directory, including group policy, DNS, and replication.

Develop and deploy PowerShell scripts for system administration, reporting, and troubleshooting.

Conduct vulnerability management, including scanning, remediation, and patching with tools such as Nucleus, Rapid7, and Qualys.
