Arcadis is looking for a

Senior Water Design Manager

to join our Resilience Water Team. You will have 10 or more years of experience in planning, design, and/or construction of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure, including treatment plants and pump station projects. This is an exciting opportunity for a self‑motivated engineer to support one of the best‑qualified municipal consulting firms in the country. Role Accountabilities

Lead the technical execution of pump station work and provide technical leadership to the team to deliver successful projects. Serve as lead designer and/or design manager of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure including treatment plants, pump stations, and hydraulic structures such as intakes and gate projects. Develop layout, hydraulic calculations, equipment sizing, contract drawings, and specifications. Exercise engineering judgment to develop solutions to complex water infrastructure challenges. Coordinate with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams during all project phases, from schematic design to construction. Engage in Arcadis’ national process mechanical practice, act as a technical resource for the region, and mentor junior engineers. Perform quality assurance and control reviews of water infrastructure projects. Participate in client relationship development, pump station marketing, and pursuit efforts. Scope and budget water infrastructure projects. Required Qualifications

10 years of pump station design experience. Bachelor’s Degree in Civil, Environmental, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or a related field. Florida PE license or ability to obtain within 6 months. Preferred Qualifications

15+ years of experience. Master’s degree or MBA in Civil, Environmental, or Mechanical Engineering. Experience with large and complex water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure projects. Experience with complex pumping systems such as diesel‑driven pumps. Familiarity with Pump Station design standards such as Hydraulic Institute Standards and USACE Engineering Manuals. Experience with key clients in South Florida. Key Skills and Attributes

Excellent technical engineering in design of water, wastewater, and stormwater infrastructure. Strong, clear, and concise written and oral communication skills. Experience managing preparation of and reviewing project drawings, specifications, schedules, and cost estimates. Client relationship skills and experience with proposal development. Functional experience with MS Office applications. Benefits and Compensation

Salary range for this position is $95,000–$180,000 per year. The role is based in Florida.
