Staff Accountant
Are you a detail‑oriented and experienced accountant looking for a new challenge? We're looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join our client.
What You’ll Do In this role, you will be a key player in accounting operations, working closely with the Accounting Supervisor. Your responsibilities will include:
Financial Reporting and Analysis:
Prepare financial reports, analyze operational data, and create variance analyses.
Account Management:
Manage fixed assets, track cash flow, and maintain customer profiles.
Payroll & Credit:
Handle payroll preparation and administer credit policies.
General Ledger:
Post journal entries, reconcile general and sub‑ledger accounts, and assist with month‑end close.
Compliance:
Maintain accounting controls by adhering to company policies and federal regulations like Sarbanes‑Oxley.
Collaboration:
Work with other departments to analyze actual results against plans.
You’ll also have the opportunity to work on special projects and other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring
A bachelor's degree in accounting.
At least two years of experience in public accounting.
A high level of proficiency with
Microsoft Excel
and experience with ERP or other accounting software.
A keen eye for detail and a dedication to accuracy in all your work.
The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management.
