$25 – $30/hr Contract Type:
W2 only Scope of Services: The Logistics Analyst will support the ADD Logistics team with the scheduling, monitoring, and tracking of inbound/outbound shipments from the Lake County Distribution Team. Responsibilities include coordinating the transfer of inventory to/from 3PL (third-party logistics) warehouses to the Lake County Distribution Center, monitoring inventory levels to ensure proactive coordination of materials, and managing the trailer/container yard to ensure adequate space. Additionally, the role will involve supporting various logistics-related projects as needed. Role, Responsibilities, and Deliverables: Schedule, monitor, and track inbound and outbound shipments to ensure timely and efficient delivery. Coordinate the transfer of inventory between the 3PL warehouse and the Lake County Distribution Center. Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations. Manage the trailer and container yard to ensure efficient use of space and resources. Support various logistics-related projects, providing analysis and insights to improve logistics operations. Education & Experience: High school degree required; Bachelor’s degree in Production & Operations Management, Finance, or General Business preferred. 1-5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or related fields. Experience with Microsoft Office and SAP ECC/SRM preferred. Data and analytics experience is beneficial but not required. Strong problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
