Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where structure and precision are key? Are you motivated by solving logistical challenges and keeping operations running smoothly?
At RAINS, we are in an exciting transformation. We are turning things around — expanding our global footprint and evolving our operations. Logistics is at the heart of this journey — connecting products, people, and places across borders. To support our growing team, we’re now looking for a proactive Logistics Coordinator to join us in Clifton, New Jersey.
The role
As our Logistics Coordinator, you will play a key role in managing Rains’ wholesale and B2B operations – ensuring accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across the entire order-to-delivery process. You will be responsible for overseeing order entry (manual and EDI), inventory validation, ERP and WMS transactions – plus coordination of inbound and outbound logistics. As a key link between internal teams, external partners, and national accounts, the Logistics Coordinator ensures that orders and shipments are fulfilled on time and reconciled accurately. The role involves identifying and resolving discrepancies proactively, while also contributing to process improvements and system optimization. The role also contributes to process improvements, system expertise, and continuous enhancements to service quality, supporting Rains’ global growth and commitment to operational excellence.
Your key responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end order fulfillment process, including manual and EDI order entry, data validation, and compliance with retailer requirements.
Support shipment execution through the creation of Bills of Lading (BOLs), Advanced Shipping Notices (ASNs), and shipping labels.
Coordinate cross-functionally with project management, production, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth and timely order execution.
Maintain order accuracy and oversee delivery to multiple customer sites across the U.S.
Partner with warehouse operations to maintain organization and coordinate daily pick, pack, and ship activities.
Provide operational support for customer service inquiries related to orders, returns, and shipments.
Take ownership of day-to-day operational challenges, implementing solutions and supporting process improvements.
Collaborate with team members to ensure deadlines are met and overall operations run smoothly, stepping in as needed to support packing, inventory organization, or other critical tasks.
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in wholesale fashion, supply chain, or logistics (preferred).
Proven experience managing national accounts (e.g., Nordstrom, Amazon, Macy’s, Bloomingdale’s, Saks, or similar).
Background in international logistics, freight forwarding, and trade compliance, including knowledge of Incoterms, import/export regulations, and supply chain management.
Hands‑on experience with ERP systems (Dynamics Business Central), CRM/ticketing platforms (Zendesk or similar), and retailer portals.
Bachelor’s degree preferred, coursework in Supply Chain Management a plus.
Your Profile
You’re curious about how things move — from warehouse to webshop, from order to delivery. You have a commercial mindset and a hands‑on approach. You’re ready to grow, take ownership, and be part of a team that keeps RAINS running smoothly behind the scenes.
We imagine you have:
Strong time management, organizational, and prioritization abilities with a sense of urgency.
High attention to detail and accuracy, with proven ability to deliver error‑free documentation.
Analytical and problem‑solving skills; ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills; strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder management.
Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, changing environment while maintaining a continuous improvement mindset.
Self‑motivated, process‑oriented, and customer‑focused, with a passion for logistics, compliance, and supply chain operations.
