This is an opportunity to take ownership of growth across the aviation and aerospace markets for a leading manufacturer of advanced engineered materials. In this role, you’ll shape commercial strategy, identify emerging opportunities, and work closely with senior stakeholders to expand presence across global aerospace programs. You’ll collaborate with technical and operations teams to deliver high-value solutions for clients that include major OEMs, suppliers, and specialist engineering partners. What you’ll be doing
Develop and execute strategies to increase market share within the aerospace and aviation sectors. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and emerging verticals. Manage and grow relationships with key customers and suppliers. Lead proposal development, bids, and negotiations on high-value contracts. Collaborate with R&D, engineering, and operations teams to align business goals with technical delivery. Represent the company at key industry events and trade shows, building strong market presence. What you’ll bring
Proven background (5–10 years) in aerospace business development or technical sales. Strong commercial acumen, relationship-building skills, and the ability to drive strategic partnerships. Experience managing proposals, contracts, and complex customer accounts. Knowledge of aviation or aerospace market dynamics and regulations. A degree in Aerospace Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience). Familiarity with thermal requirements or MLI blanket design would be advantageous. Why this role
