Now Hiring: Senior Banquets Manager Kalahari Resorts & Conventions is seeking a
Senior Banquet Manager.
In this position, you will assist the Director of Banquets in leading the banquet front-of-house team and beverage team in the day-to-day operations of the banquet department. You will also ensure the quality of service, compliance with health, safety, and sanitation, and alcohol awareness standards. As a leader, youll bring our Promise to lifesupporting associates, inspiring teamwork, and delivering unforgettable guest experiences.
What Youll Do: Plan & Execute Events
Develop and implement event plans, timelines, staffing, and equipment needs while ensuring smooth operations and exceptional guest experiences. Team Leadership & Collaboration
Guide, train, and support staff, coordinating with departments like catering, kitchen, and sales to meet event specifications. Operational Oversight & Standards
Maintain cleanliness, safety, and organization during events, with basic oversight of budgets and P&L.
What Were Looking For: We do require that you have a background consisting of at least two years of management experience in a significant convention center or large hotel (over 500 room property). Prior experience as a server, captain, and set-up house person is preferred. Beverage experience is required. Prior experience working in banquet/event space centers of 75,000+ sq. ft. A leadership style rooted in collaboration, respect, and service to others
