Operating Room RN Job Details Location: Milwaukee, WI 53215 (Wisconsin nursing jobs) Assignment Type: Travel Registered Nurse Contract Estimated Weekly Pay: $1950 - $2000 Start Date: November 9, 2025 End Date: February 6, 2026 Duration: 13-week travel nursing assignment Shift: 8 Hour Days (variable start times: 5:30am-7:00am) Hours per Week: 40 On Call: Required, 30-minute response time Weekend Shifts: 1-2 weekends per assignment (Saturday & Sunday, 12-hour shifts as needed) Charting System: EPIC Registered Nurse Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Wisconsin or compact state (RN jobs in Wisconsin) BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience (general, vascular, and robotic surgery preferred) Proficiency in surgical procedures: breasts/plastics, vascular, laparoscopic, oncology, genitourinary (GU), gynecology (GYN), and Robots XI Experience with EPIC, Alaris, and Pyxis systems preferred Not recommended for first-time travel nurses Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities Circulate and/or scrub for diverse surgical procedures, focusing on robotic and vascular cases Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs to deliver optimal patient care Maintain aseptic technique and adhere to patient safety protocols Document patient care accurately in the EPIC electronic health record system Float within surgical services, including the urology center, as needed Participate in on-call rotation and respond within 30 minutes Engage in orientation and ongoing professional development to uphold clinical excellence Apply now to join Milwaukee’s leading healthcare team as a Travel Operating Room Registered Nurse.
