Key Details Job Title: Residential Aide (Swing Shift) Department: ODR Interim Housing Reports To: Program Manager FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Work Setting: On-Site (Los Angeles, CA) Schedule: Part-Time (Saturday and Sunday, 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m) Pay Range: $18.50 - $20.50 per hour, DOE

What You'll Do: The Impact You'll Make As a Residential Aide, you will provide direct support and care to residents in our ODR Interim Housing program, ensuring a safe, clean, and welcoming environment. Your work helps promote stability, independence, and dignity for each resident we serve.

Resident Support & Care • Respond promptly and compassionately to resident needs. • Support residents in daily living skills, personal care, and maintaining independence. • Assist with meal preparation, serving, and scheduled program activities. • Maintain strict confidentiality and uphold Alcott's trauma-informed care philosophy.

Monitoring & Safety • Conduct regular facility rounds to ensure resident and building safety. • Respond effectively to emergencies and report all incidents in a timely manner. • Keep all resident areas-including hallways, restrooms, and laundry rooms-clean, organized, and hazard-free.

Documentation & Communication • Complete daily shift logs, incident reports, and documentation accurately. • Provide detailed shift handoffs and communicate important updates to the Program Manager and incoming staff.

Administrative & Facility Support • Greet visitors, answer phones, and assist with resident medication self-administration. • Support program activities, meetings, and recreational events as needed. • Assist with general facility upkeep and other administrative duties assigned by the Program Manager.

What You'll Bring: Your Qualifications Education & Experience • High School diploma or GED required. • At least one (1) year of experience in mental health, substance use treatment, or social services supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. • Candidates with lived experience are encouraged to apply. • If in recovery, must have at least one (1) year of continuous sobriety.

Skills & Competencies • Ability to remain calm, professional, and compassionate under stress. • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and database systems. • Strong sense of responsibility, consistency, and respect for diversity.

Licenses & Requirements • Valid California Driver's License and insurability under agency policy (if driving is required). • Successful Live Scan background clearance. • Current CPR certification preferred. • Military-experienced candidates are encouraged to apply. • Alcott follows Fair Chance hiring practices during the background check process.
