We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented
Endodontic Dental Assistant
to join a professional dental care team. This role supports root canal and other endodontic procedures through clinical assistance, patient care, and administrative support. The ideal candidate will be dependable, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. Key Responsibilities • Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, ensuring all instruments and materials are sterilized according to infection control standards. • Provide chairside assistance to the endodontist during root canal and other endodontic treatments, including suctioning, irrigation, and handling instruments. • Capture and process dental radiographs or CBCT scans as directed. • Review patient medical histories and record detailed treatment notes accurately. • Educate and support patients before, during, and after procedures; provide clear post-treatment instructions. • Communicate with the front office regarding scheduling, patient follow-ups, and coordination with referring dentists. • Maintain dental supply inventory, ensuring endodontic materials and equipment are stocked and in working order. • Adhere to OSHA, HIPAA, and safety standards while promoting a collaborative and positive work environment. Qualifications
Required Skills & Experience: • Proven experience working as an
Endodontic Dental Assistant .
Preferred Skills: • Familiarity with dental software and electronic charting systems.
Education: • Completion of an accredited
Dental Assistant Program
OR at least one (1) year of hands-on dental assisting experience. Certifications & Licensure
Required: • CPR Certification (current). • X-Ray Certification. • Expanded Function Dental Assistant Certification (CODA or State Board Approved).
