We are seeking a compassionate and skilled

Pediatric Dental Assistant

to join a friendly and patient-focused dental team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, excellent communication skills, and a strong commitment to creating a positive dental experience for young patients and their families. This position offers the opportunity to work in a modern clinical environment where teamwork, quality care, and patient comfort are top priorities. Key Responsibilities • Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments for pediatric dental procedures. • Educate children and parents about oral hygiene, preventive care, and post-treatment instructions. • Take and process dental radiographs as directed by the dentist. • Maintain accurate and organized patient records and assist with scheduling as needed. • Provide chairside assistance to dentists during treatments while ensuring patient comfort and safety. • Manage dental supply inventory and maintain operatory cleanliness and readiness. • Follow OSHA, infection control, and safety compliance protocols. • Provide reassurance and emotional support to pediatric patients before, during, and after treatment. Qualifications

Required Skills & Experience: • Minimum of 1 year of hands-on experience as a

Pediatric Dental Assistant . • Ability to effectively engage with children and families in a positive, patient manner. • Competence in clinical duties such as X-rays, room setup/teardown, and instrument handling.

Education: • Completion of an accredited

Dental Assistant Program

(required). Certifications & Licensure

Required: • CPR Certification (current). • Expanded Function Dental Assistant (CODA or Florida Board Approved). • X-Ray Certification. • Sealant Certification (North Miami). • Coronal Polishing Certification (Miami).

Preferred: • Nitrous Oxide Certification.
