Purpose of this position

The Robinson Counseling Center's Substance Use Disorder Program (SUD-Program) which provides Adult Drug and Alcohol Clinical Services is currently looking for an energetic and dependable person who works well collectively as a treatment team member. If you are ambitious and confident in your ability to learn and help others, the
Adult
Substance Use Disorder Therapist/Counselor position

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Skilled in motivational interviewing and cognitive behavioral therapy Knowledgeable of supportive resources in Luzerne and Wyoming Counties Ability to maintain a patient centered approach Application of trauma informed care Current knowledge of drug trends and their effects Being well organized and adaptive within the work environment The Robinson Counseling Center for adults creates a positive working culture of

Hourly & Salary Package
Qualifications
:
Bachelor's Degree or above from an accredited college or university, with a Major in Chemical Dependency, Psychology, Social Work, Counseling or other related field which includes a practicum in a Health or Human Services agency
Certification as an addictions counselor by statewide certification body is also acceptable
One year of experiencing working with individuals with a substance use disorder is preferred
