Amazon Web Services (AWS) . Description This position is part of the AWS Specialist and Partner Organization (ASP). Our specialists drive the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for their technology domains, offering both business and technical expertise that enable our customers to thrive. The partner teams focus on the strategy, recruitment, development, and growth of key technology and consulting partners. At Amazon Web Services (AWS), we seek motivated and experienced technologists who can blend technical depth with exceptional interpersonal skills. As a Partner Solutions Architect, you'll collaborate with leading financial services technology companies, the AWS Partner Network (APN), and various AWS teams to design scalable, resilient joint solutions that solve customer business problems and boost AWS service adoption. In partnership with sales, you will drive revenue growth among a select group of global financial services customers. As a trusted advocate, your role as a solutions architect is to guide organizations on best practices for advanced cloud solutions and assist them in migrating existing workloads to the cloud. You'll have the opportunity to influence strategy and drive AWS adoption within enterprise customers. We seek self-motivated individuals with a proven track record in software/technology sales or consulting, as well as those capable of linking technology to measurable business outcomes. You should have the ability to think strategically about business, products, and technical challenges. We value candidates with a strong understanding of large-scale computing solutions and previous experience as a systems engineer/architect. You'll continually refine your technical skills and actively engage in deep-dive discussions to develop outstanding solutions built on AWS. Expect to participate in educational and design sessions that promote joint solutions. Key Responsibilities: Engage deeply with technical details such as design choices, best practices, and use cases with customers and partners. Possess deep knowledge of the Financial Services domain. Inspire and influence executive stakeholders. Contribute significantly to technical discussions for constructive solutions. Assist partners in recognizing the opportunities and risks associated with their technical choices. Participate in creating and sharing best practices, technical documentation, and reference architectures while evangelizing AWS technology through various channels including workshops and public speaking. Basic Qualifications: 6+ years of specific technology-related experience (e.g., software development, cloud computing, systems engineering). 3+ years in design, implementation, or consulting for applications and infrastructure. 6+ years of IT development or consulting experience in software or internet industries. 5+ years of experience in the Insurance or Financial Services sector. Preferred Qualifications: 5+ years in infrastructure architecture, database architecture, and networking. Experience engaging with end-user or developer communities.
