The Controller oversees all day-to-day Accounting functions, with the support of several department managers, guiding the company to a stronger and more efficient accounting department.
This job:
Owns all Accounting, General Ledger for multiple locations
Reconciliation, journal entries, month end close, adjustments, accruals, some inventory pieces
Oversight over shared services style AP functions, processes and program
Participate in the Corporate Financial Statement production
Mange a large accounting team with the support of several department managers assuring they are hitting their deadlines, trained on the best use of systems, and set up for success
Recognize and consolidate revenue from multiple sources
Manage external audits
We are looking for:
BS Degree in Accounting or Business
CPA; Public Accounting background is a nice to have
8+ years of previous GL/GAAP Accounting experience is a must
Preference to experience in a multi-entity environment
Strong Accounting Systems and Processes experience, Excel through pivot tables/lookups
Learning agility is important; curiosity in nature
Ability to keep multiple projects in motion at the same time; Agile thinker
Time Management skills, including the full team's deliverables and deadlines
Cultural Notes:
Prefers people who are comfortable and confident in their genuine self
Not corporate feeling
Compensation is $125-135K

$125,000.00 to $135,000.00 per year
