Join our Team as a Senior Maintenance Engineer!
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Engineer III to enhance the operations of our esteemed resort. If you are passionate about providing excellent guest service while ensuring efficient maintenance of our facilities, this opportunity is for you!
Position Summary: As a Senior Maintenance Engineer, you will :
Respond promptly to guest repair requests and communicate effectively to resolve maintenance issues with minimal supervision.
Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment, including thorough cleaning and lubrication.
Conduct visual inspections on tools, equipment, or machines to ensure optimal performance.
Manage maintenance inventory, requisition parts and supplies as necessary, and communicate daily activities and issues to other shifts.
Exhibit strong ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics related to plumbing and HVAC systems.
Demonstrate advanced skills in various categories, including air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, and general building management.
Utilize safe practices in using hand and power tools required for repairs and maintenance tasks.
Complete complex repairs on electrical, plumbing, mechanical systems, and pool heaters while ensuring compliance with company standards and safety codes.
Train and mentor junior engineers as needed, performing Engineer on Duty responsibilities, including readings and rounds.
Key Qualifications:
Education : High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent with vocational or technical background.
Experience : Extensive experience in general maintenance, specifically in hotel engineering / maintenance with at least 2 years of relevant experience.
Certifications : Valid Driver's License and Universal Chlorofluorocarbon (CFC) Certification required.
