Key Responsibilities Assure comprehensive evaluations of patients across pediatric, adult, and geriatric demographics utilizing standardized assessments and observational methods. Craft tailored treatment plans addressing both immediate and long-term communication and swallowing needs. Deliver personalized speech therapy sessions aimed at enhancing communication, language skills, fluency, voice quality, and safe swallowing. Engage collaboratively with physical and occupational therapists, nurses, physicians, caregivers, and families to formulate effective care strategies. Provide essential education to patients and families, empowering them to support progress outside the therapy room. Participate in occasional inpatient speech therapy evaluations, ensuring a seamless continuum of care throughout the patient's journey. Document patient interactions accurately and promptly, complying with state, federal, and institutional regulations. Embrace continuous learning to stay abreast of new methods and best practices within the field. Education Requirements

A Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology obtained from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) required unless ASHA-certified. Certification Guidelines

Possession of a state license as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. A Basic Life Support (BLS) certification must be acquired within 30 days post-employment. Essential Skills
