Description Conduct assessments for patients from pediatric to geriatric groups using validated tests and clinical observations. Tailor individualized treatment strategies to meet both immediate and future communication or swallowing goals. Deliver specialized therapy focused on speaking, language use, fluency, voice modulation, and swallowing techniques. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes physical and occupational therapists, nurses, and physicians to formulate integrated care plans. Provide education and support to patients and their families, helping reinforce therapy progress outside of sessions. Participate in occasional inpatient evaluations and treatment to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care. Document patient progress and treatment plans accurately, adhering to all relevant guidelines. Maintain professional knowledge by engaging in continuing education opportunities and sharing insights with colleagues. Education

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution. Completion of a supervised Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) if not yet ASHA-certified. Certifications

Current state license to practice as a

Speech Language Pathologist . Preferred: Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA. Basic Life Support (BLS) certification to be obtained within 30 days of hiring. Skills

Adept in using evidence-based therapeutic techniques for all age ranges while understanding developmental and acquired speech and language disorders. Strong communication skills to engage effectively with patients, families, and the healthcare team. Flexibility in adapting treatment methods to honor diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds.
