We are seeking an experienced Tax Accountant to join our client's team. This position is responsible for preparing accurate and timely federal and state tax returns for both individuals and businesses, as well as providing tax planning and consulting services to a diverse client base. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, analytical, and skilled at building strong client relationships. The anticipated salary for this role is between $55,000-$65,000 a year.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and file federal and state business and individual tax returns.
• Provide proactive tax planning and consulting services to a wide range of clients.
• Prepare monthly financial statements and reports for various organizations.
• Research and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance and optimize client outcomes.
• Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax filings and financial reports.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in income tax preparation (required).
• CPA license (preferred).
• QuickBooks Desktop and QuickBooks Online.
• ATX Tax Software.
• Strong knowledge of federal and state tax regulations.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
• ATX Tax Software.
