Job Duties and Responsibilities
Coordinate and submit customer PPAP packages Oversee daily lab testing and analyze data using SPC control charts Maintain and submit control plans, PFMEA, and MSA studies Control and maintain customer automotive and/or material specifications for outside labs Navigate and utilize customer portals effectively Submit IMDS and maintain documentation for compliance Review and interpret customer drawings and specifications Maintain layered process audit processes Develop and maintain work instructions and standard operating procedures (SOPs) Maintain and schedule calibration records Develop and submit Kaizens for continuous improvement Oversee plant document control processes Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and other quality standards Education Requirements
College diploma in technical fields of
science or engineering
preferred, or equivalent combination of education and professional work experience Experience Requirements
5-8 years of quality-related experience, preferably in an
automotive manufacturing environment 2-3 years of
supervisory or managerial experience Background in
automotive quality systems and TS16949
preferred Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient in
Microsoft Office Strong knowledge of
quality assurance processes and standards Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications Experience with
control charts, PFMEA, MSA studies, and PPAP submissions Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Excellent organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
