Planner / Buyer - Co-Packaging Operations

We're looking for a
Planner / Buyer
to support our growing co-packaging operations. This key role keeps everything running smoothly behind the scenes - ensuring materials are in place, schedules are met, and production flows efficiently. If you're organized, analytical, and ready to make a difference, this is your opportunity to shine! What You'll Do Plan and schedule materials:
Analyze forecasts, customer orders, and production schedules to ensure the right materials are available at the right time. Procure smartly:
Source, negotiate, and purchase packaging materials, labels, components, and supplies to support customer programs. Partner with suppliers:
Build strong vendor relationships and ensure quality, pricing, and delivery standards are consistently met. Manage inventory:
Track usage, monitor stock levels, and maintain accurate inventory records to minimize waste and prevent shortages. Collaborate across teams:
Work closely with production, quality, and warehouse departments to align material flow with production needs. Improve processes:
Identify opportunities to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and streamline purchasing and planning workflows. Maintain ERP accuracy:
Update system data for materials, lead times, and safety stock to ensure planning accuracy and timely reporting. What You'll Bring Education:
Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Experience:
1-3 years in purchasing, planning, or supply chain roles - ideally within manufacturing or packaging environments. Technical Skills:
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel) and ERP/MRP systems (e.g., Navision, SAP, Oracle). Communication:
Strong written and verbal communication; able to collaborate effectively with internal teams and external partners. Analytical Thinking:
Ability to interpret data, forecast needs, and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment. Bonus:
