Our client is seeking a

Risk Technology Manager

to lead the development and enhancement of their risk technology infrastructure. This role requires a technical expert who can turn complex risk and research concepts into production-ready solutions, working closely with risk, quantitative, and technology teams to support analytics, reporting, and decision-making. This is a hybrid position based in New York City, NY.

Starting at $200,000/year.

Risk Technology Manager's Responsibilities and Duties:

Develop and enhance risk technology stack, including data pipelines, databases, and analytical engines Design and implement data ingestion and transformation workflows across multiple asset classes Collaborate with risk managers, quants, and technologists to operationalize risk models and analytics Maintain and extend existing systems built primarily in Python, SQL, and C# Support risk reporting, exposure analysis, and stress testing infrastructure Ensure data quality, process automation, and production stability across risk systems Translate conceptual risk and research ideas into robust, production-level code and processes Risk Technology Manager's Qualifications and Skills:

At least 3 years of experience in risk technology, data engineering, or a similar quantitative development role within a hedge fund, investment bank, or trading firm Advanced programming skills in Python and SQL (must be able to pass coding tests) Experience with C# and/or other compiled languages is a plus Strong knowledge of database architecture and data warehousing concepts Understanding of financial instruments, particularly fixed income, derivatives, and structured products Proven ability to move ideas from prototype to production in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication and problem-solving skills; able to work directly with senior risk leadership
